About David Woo
David Woo is a Photo-Journalist with more than 33 years experience at The Dallas Morning News and on the staff that won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for their coverage of Hurricane Katrina and Rita.
Woo is also a two-time Pulitzer Prize Finalist for his work for Feature Photography in 1984 and again in 1987 for News Photography with a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas in 1976.
David's photography has been published in national and international magazines including Life, Time, Newsweek, Parade Magazine, People, Sports Illustrated, GQ, Vanity Fair, Esquire and Texas Monthly. His popular coffee table portrait book, Texas Women, published in 1984 with fellow Dallas Morning News photographer, Richard Pruitt, received national praise. The Corbis Photo Agency in New York City has represented him for the past 33 years.
Woo lives in Arlington, Texas with his wife Suzi. They have a combined family of five children, two grandsons and one Bassett Hound – Chester.
About Richard Pruitt
Richard Pruitt recently completed 40 years as a photographer for The Dallas Morning News where he had several positions including Sunday Magazine photographer, Director of Photography and Senior Staff Photographer. Pruitt has received awards from numerous organizations for his photography and was on the staff that won the 2005 Pulitzer for their coverage of Hurricane Katrina and Rita. His work has been published in Time, Newsweek, People, and the former Life Magazine. In recent years, Pruitt has been video storytelling for various companies and organizations. Richard is currently working on an untitled nature documentary in East Texas.
Pruitt lives in Dallas with his wife, Sandra of 45 years. They have two grown children, Michelle Pruitt Taylor and Brian Pruitt, and four grandchildren, Zachery, Nicholas, Peyton and Gavin.
